You’ll meet at the Cairns Reef Terminal at 8am for a 9am departure. Jump on our catamaran for a 90 minute journey to the beautiful Great Barrier Reef. There, you’ll step onto our exclusive pontoon, Marine World. You’ll have five hours there where you can enjoy a myriad of activities, both wet and dry! At 3.30pm you’ll farewell Marine World and arrive back in Cairns at around 5pm, ready to experience the buzzing Cairns nightlife.
What’s included at Marine World?
You can snorkel ‘til your hearts content at marine world with all equipment including personal flotation devices in adult and child sizes included free of charge. We’ll also give you a free wetsuit or lycra suit use for year round comfort and in-water safety. We offer Semi-Submersible tours and Glass Bottom Boat tours with interactive commentary as well as a fish feeding and identification session with our on-board Marine Biologist! Marine World has an Underwater Observatory, a sundeck, fresh water showers and changing rooms, all on-board.
Your day at Marine World is fully catered for with a buffet lunch included as well as snacks, tea and coffee available throughout the entire trip. If you’re after a bit more adventure while visiting the reef, for an additional cost, you can try and intro scuba dive or certified dive! No experience is necessary for an intro dive and it is the best way to get up close and personal with the wonders of the reef.If you want to try a dive but would rather not get your hair wet, try out a helmet dive and meet our famous fish friend, Wally!
For the ultimate view of the reef from above, why not try a helicopter tour, taking off right from the pontoon. You can even get the heli all the way back to Cairns if you like! For those looking for a little more relaxation, book in for a massage on our glorious sundeck and enjoy the regions only reef-based massage therapist.
